Minor league report: Penguins fall to Stars
Forward Sam Miletic and defenseman David Warsofsky each had a goal and an assist for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 5-3 loss to the Texas Stars at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.
Forward Jordy Bellerive had two assists for the Penguins (13-8-2-1) while defenseman Zach Trotman added a goal. Goaltender Emil Larmi made 28 saves in the defeat.

The Penguins next play the rival Hershey Bears at the Giant Center in Hershey on Sunday, 5 p.m.

Goaltender Jordan Ruby made 14 saves for the Wheeling Nailers in a 4-1 loss to the Kalamazoo Wings at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling.
Forward Yushiroh Hirano scored the only goal for the Nailers (9-9-4-0).

The Nailers will host the Toledo Walleye on Sunday, 4:05 p.m.
