Minor league report: Penguins, Gabe Klassen beat Bears

A pair of goals by forward Gabe Klassen led the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 5-2 win against the rival Hershey Bears at Mohegan Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.

Forward Raivis Ansons had a goal and an assist for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (22-7-1-1) while forwards Nolan Renwick and Philip Tomasino each contributed a goal.

Goaltender Sergei Murashov made 19 saves on 21 shots to boost his record to 11-2-0.

Highlights:

The Penguins’ next game is a road contest against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Sunday, 3:05 p.m.
