A goal and an assist by forward Jansen Harkins led the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 4-1 win against the rival Hershey Bears in their regular season home finale at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.
Forwards Corey Andonovski, Avery Hayes and Sam Poulin all scored a goal apiece for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (xxx) which has won seven consecutive games.
Goaltender Ludovic Waeber made 22 saves on 23 shots to improve his record to 8-7-0.
Defenseman Isaac Belliveau, a fifth-round pick (No. 154 overall) of the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2021, made his AHL debut. Opening the contest on the second pairing, Belliveau recorded two penalty minutes and was minus-1.

The Wheeling Nailers clinched a playoff berth in the ECHL’s Kelly Cup playoffs with a 6-0 victory against the Cincinnati Cyclones at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry.
Due to flooding concerns in Wheeling, W.Va., the contest was moved from the Nailers’ home venue, WesBanco Arena.
Goaltender Jaxon Castor made 17 saves and recorded his first shutout of the season, improving his record to 10-4-1.
Forwards Matt Koopman and Jordan Martel each had two goals and an assist for Wheeling (37-28-4-1) while forward Justin Addamo contributed three assists.
The Nailers’ next game has yet to be determined. A home contest against the Toledo Walleye scheduled for Friday has been postponed indefinitely due to the flooding.
