Minor league report: Penguins rout Phantoms in preseason opener

Defenseman Justin Lee scored two goals for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, who routed the rival Lehigh Valley Phatoms, 6-1, in the preseason opener for both teams at the PPL Center in Allentown on Tuesday.

Forward Logan Pietila had a goal and two assists for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton while linemate Jordan Martel contributed a goal and an assist.

Goaltender Sergei Murashov made 12 saves on 13 shots in the victory.

Highlights:

The Penguins’ next game is a home contest against the Hershey Bears on Thursday, 10:30 a.m.
