Minor league report: Penguins, Tristan Broz beat Bruins

A pair of goals by forward Tristan Broz led the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 4-1 win against the Providence Bruins at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, R.I., on Wednesday.

Forward Valtteri Puustinen recorded two assists for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (24-10-1-2) while forwards Rafael Harvey-Pinard and Joona Koppanen each contributed a goal.

Goaltender Sergei Murashov improved his record to 13-4-0 after making 36 saves on 37 shots.

Defenseman Caleb Jones made his debut for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Opening the contest on the left side of the third pairing, Jones had one shot.

The Penguins’ next game is a home contest against the Hartford Wolf Pack on Friday, 7:05 p.m.
