Minor league report: Penguins' winning streak snapped by Bears in shootout

Forwards Drake Caggiula and Valtteri Puustinen each had a regulation goal and an assist for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 4-3 road shootout loss to the rival Hershey Bears at the Giant Center in Hershey on Tuesday.

Goaltender Dustin Tokarski made 40 saves on 43 shots in regulation and overtime then stopped one of two shots in the shootout for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (10-5-1-2) which had a three-game winning streak snapped. Penguins forward Drew O’Connor contributed two assists.

The Penguins’ next game is a home contest against the Bridgeport Islanders on Saturday, 6:05 p.m.
