Minor league report: Tristan Broz scores twice as Penguins beat Phantoms
A pair of goals and an assist by forward Tristan Broz led the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 4-1 win against the rival Lehigh Valley Phantoms at the PPL Center in Allentown on Sunday.
Linemate Ville Koivunen, a day after being assigned by the Pittsburgh Penguins, recorded two assists for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (2-0-0, 4 points) while forward Avery Hayes contributed a goal and an assist.
In his first game of the season, goaltender Filip Larsson made made 26 saves on 27 shots in the victory.
