As coach Mike Tomlin had indicated the day prior, running back Najee Harris sat out Pittsburgh Steelers practice on Wednesday.

Harris was limited during this past Sunday’s game in Baltimore because of an elbow injury. He played, though, during the fourth quarter and overtime, an indication that he can be cleared to play in time for Sunday night’s wild-card playoff game at the Kansas City Chiefs.

Another player who suffered an injury Sunday, nickel cornerback Arthur Maulet, was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice on the league-mandated injury report. Maulet is in NFL concussion protocol, so that he took the field at all Wednesday can be interpreted as a positive sign regarding his potential availability against the Chiefs.

Rookie Dan Moore Jr. missed the Ravens game because of an ankle injury after not practicing all last week, but he returned to full practice Wednesday. Veteran Joe Haeg started in Moore’s place in Baltimore.

Despite being referenced by Tomlin as nursing injuries, inside linebacker Robert Spillane (knee) and center Kendrick Green (calf) were not listed on Wednesday’s practice report, an indication each is a “go” for Kansas City.

Receiver James Washington is the only player on the active roster currently on the NFL covid-19 list. He potentially could clear protocols by Sunday.
