National sports management company takes over All American+ Field House in Monroeville
A Florida company will take over management of the All American+ Field House in Monroeville, the region’s largest indoor volleyball facility.
The Sports Facilities Companies has been selected to manage day-to-day operations at the field house.
“Our focus will be on consistency and service — listening to the community, supporting the on-site team and delivering the kind of guest experience that keeps families and event owners coming back,” said newly appointed on-site general manager James Pappas.
Pappas, a Penn State graduate with a degree in business management, brings more than three decades of sports, ticketing, operations and enterprise systems experience spanning Major League Baseball (Pittsburgh Pirates), professional soccer (Pittsburgh Riverhounds), Tickets.com and venue operations at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh.
“The facility has been here for decades and has meant different things to various segments of the community throughout its history,” Pappas said. “I would like it to become an integral part of the region’s athletic and fitness community — a first‑class venue that offers engaging activities and programs staffed by helpful, friendly people.”
The field house has more than 180,000 square feet of event space. It is centered around a 100-yard indoor turf field and a 75-yard outdoor turf field, and it has seven hardwood multipurpose courts, seven volleyball courts, 17 pickleball courts, a fitness center, party rental space and more.
The venue has hosted the Shout! Cheer & Dance National Competition and Keystone Wrestling Championships in recent years.
The Sports Facilities Companies manages more than 90 venues across the U.S.
“We’re excited to partner with All American+ Field House and the Monroeville community to elevate operations, create more high-quality programs and events, and build a long-term foundation for sustainable success,” said its executive vice president, Michael P. Kelly.
