Neal Shipley celebrates Tour card with 63 on Korn Ferry Tour
Neal Shipley was surprised to learn that he earned his PGA Tour card on the Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday.
Shipley went out and celebrated by shooting an 8-under par 63 on Thursday and is tied for second place with three others, including points leader Johnny Keefer, a shot behind Dalton Ward, at the Albertsons Boise Open on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Shipley started his round with an eagle by chipping in from the fairway. He also had seven birdies and a bogey.

The Mt. Lebanon native and Central Catholic grad has two wins on the Korn Ferry Tour and five-consecutive Top 10 finishes. He said that his goal for the rest of the season is to win the point standings. He is currently third.
Greensburg native Mark Goetz shot a 3-under 68 and is tied for 49th.
Jackson back in action
After taking a month off, Murrysville native and Franklin Regional grad Palmer Jackson returned to the HotelPlanner.com Tour at the Vierumaki Finnish Challenge at Cooke Course, Vierumaki, Finland.
Jackson shot a 1-over par 73, finishing his round with birdies on Nos. 14 and 17 after having three consecutive bogeys (Nos. 10-12).
Jackson is hoping to finish strong and end up in the Top 20. He is currently ranked No. 24.
