Betting tips website PicksWise is looking for a few fans of both football and food.
The winning “football foodie” will have a chance to earn $500 and become the company’s “official NFL Taste Tester” for the upcoming season, in a bid to find the best signature dish across the league.
The job description? Traveling to NFL stadiums to try the finest wares that stadiums have to offer.
PicksWise will provide the winner with $500 tickets to the games and a stipend to purchase stadium food. The “taste tester” will then report back to PicksWise and rank the food against other stadiums.
“The NFL is known for great action, great athletes and some incredible food so we want to hire the right person to settle the debate on which franchise has the bragging rights,” said PicksWise spokesman Jake Apperley.
Heinz Field recently announced what should be a pretty strong entry in the competition. After collaborating for the Steel Curtain roller coaster and Steelers Experience at Kennywood, Heinz Field on Pittsburgh’s North Shore will serve the park’s beloved Potato Patch fries. They’ll come with with Heinz Ketchup and real cheese.
The Potato Patch signature fresh cut fries will be available in the Fed Ex Great Hall. They will be offered in several versions, including original, as well as with cheese sauce, gravy or bacon cheddar fries.
The PicksWise competition runs through Sept. 9, and the winner will be announced Sept. 13. Entrants must be 21 or older.
