NHL Network to air entire 2017 Penguins-Predators Stanley Cup Final on Tuesday
To fill the void of no live sports in recent weeks, networks have provided Pittsburgh Penguins fans the opportunity to re-live the 2009 and 2016 Stanley Cup runs.
Tuesday, they’ll get a chance to turn the clock to 2017.
The NHL Network is devoting almost 12 hours of broadcast time to a re-airing of the six-game 2017 Stanley Cup Final triumph against the Nashville Predators. Starting at noon and ending at midnight – with a pair of one-our breaks for “NHL Tonight” – interspersed, NHL Network will show Games 1-6 packaged in 90-minute windows each (presumably removing the intermissions and other edits for time).
