The Pittsburgh Steelers brought back offensive lineman Ryan McCollum, who served as the team’s backup center the past two seasons.
McCollum signed a one-year contract.
The 28-year-old appeared in 24 games over the past two seasons and started twice in 2024 when center Zach Frazier was injured. McCollum spent the 2022 and ’23 seasons on the Steelers’ practice squad.
The 6-foot-5, 300-pound lineman previously was rostered by the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions. He played in 13 games and made one start for the Lions in 2021.
McCollum entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent from Texas A&M.
