Leadership changes announced for Mighty Penguins

Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey is a program for physically disabled children and adults. It offers therapeutic and competitive ice hockey programs. This practice took place at Palmer Imaging Arena in Delmont in December 2021.

The president of Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey Inc. is stepping down after serving in the position for six years.

Joe McCormick will assume the role of treasurer, replacing Erica Burg, who has been treasurer for five years.

Mark McCoy, who has served in several roles since the organization’s inception in 1998, including coach and vice president, will become president.

Martha Martin, secretary for four years, also is stepping down from the board.

Board members are: Dan McCoy, Jim Southworth, Justin Hewitt, Operations Manager/Coach James Michael, and, effective July 1, Tod Herchenroether and Leigh Anne Kustra.

Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey is a program for physically disabled children and adults. It offers therapeutic and competitive ice hockey programs.
