The NCAA Division III Presidents’ Athletic Conference will split into two divisions for men’s and women’s basketball, and women’s volleyball beginning in 2025.
The conference will be 12 schools strong with the addition of Hiram, which returns to the league in 2025-26.
There will be two, six-team divisions — North and South — with divisional crossover games in the three sports.
The division breakdown will look like this:
PAC North Division: Allegheny, Geneva, Grove City, Hiram, Thiel, Westminster.
PAC South Division: Bethany, Chatham, Franciscan, Saint Vincent, Washington & Jefferson, Waynesburg.
Each sport will play 16 conference games with two home-and-home with their five divisional opponents.
The PAC tournaments will remain in place in all three sports, and the overall conference champion will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA tournaments.
On Tuesday, the conference announced dual divisions for football, as well.
The football PAC North will include Allegheny, Hiram, Geneva, Grove City, Thiel and Westminster.
The south will have Bethany, Carnegie Mellon, Case Western Reserve, Saint Vincent, Washington & Jefferson and Waynesburg.
