INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Pacers signed former Pitt star Brad Wanamaker to a training camp deal Wednesday.

The 32-year-old guard split his time with Golden State and Charlotte last season with combined averages of 5.5 points, 2.9 assists and 1.7 rebounds.

Wanamaker played for Pitt from 2007-11 and was an honorable mention All-American as a senior. He entered the NBA as an undrafted free agent in 2018 with Boston and led the NBA in free-throw shooting in 2019-20 (.926).

He’ll join a Pacers team that also includes Chartiers Valley product T.J. McConnell.
