An 11-year-old baseball card collector from Los Angeles may have just made the find of a lifetime.

On Tuesday afternoon, Topps announced on X that the Paul Skenes 1-of-1 Rookie Debut Patch Autograph card had been found.

The card, released in November as part of the Topps Chrome Update series, has been heavily sought after due to the Pittsburgh Pirates offering season tickets behind home plate at PNC Park for 30 years to whomever did secure it.

However, season tickets are just the tip of the iceberg with regard to additional prizes the Pirates offered for finding the card, which include a softball game for 30 at PNC Park, featuring coaching from Pirates alumni and a spring training experience including a private tour of Pirates City and LECOM Park, plus a meet-and-greet with Skenes, two Skenes autographed jerseys and batting practice/warm up with the team.

Skenes’ girlfriend, LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne, then added joining her in-person at her PNC Park suite for a Pirates game as another prize.

Skenes, 22, went 11-3 with a 1.96 ERA with the Pirates last year in his first MLB campaign, earning All-Star honors and capturing NL Rookie of the Year while finishing third in NL Cy Young voting.
