The Pittsburgh Penguins activated forward Teddy Blueger from injured reserve Sunday. He has missed the past 13 games because of an undisclosed injury.

In 28 games this season, Blueger has 15 points (four goals, 11 assists).

Coach Mike Sullivan labeled Blueger as a “game-time decision” for Sunday’s road game against the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Notes:

• In corresponding transactions, rookie forward Drew O’Connor was assigned from the NHL roster to the taxi squad, and forward Josh Currie was assigned from the taxi squad to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League (AHL).

O’Connor has played in 10 NHL games this season and has one assist.

Currie, who serves as Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s captain, has played in one NHL game this season with no points. In 12 AHL games, he has 10 points (four goals, six assists).

• Forward Brandon Tanev was placed on long-term injured reserve retroactive to April 3. He has missed the past three games because of injury.

In 32 games this season, Tanev has 16 points (seven goals, nine assists).
