Penguins announce potential lineup for preseason finale

In 80 games last season, Penguins forward Sidney Crosby scored a team-leading 91 points (33 goals, 58 assists).

The Pittsburgh Penguins announced a group of players who will potentially compose their lineup for their preseason finale, a home contest against the Buffalo Sabres at PPG Paints Arena on Friday.

Those slated to participate in a morning skate include:

Forwards – Noel Acciari, Justin Brazeau, Sidney Crosby, Connor Dewar, Filip Hallander, Avery Hayes, Ben Kindel, Ville Koivunen, Blake Lizotte, Tommy Novak, Evgeni Malkin, Anthony Mantha, Rickard Rakell, Philip Tomasino

Defensemen – Harrison Brunicke, Connor Clifton, Matt Dumba, Ryan Graves, Caleb Jones, Erik Karlsson, Kris Letang, Ryan Shea, Parker Wotherspoon

Goaltenders – Tristan Jarry, Sergei Murashov, Arturs Silovs

The Penguins enter the contest with a four-game winning streak and a record of 4-1-1 on the preseason.

They are scheduled to open the regular season with a road contest against the New York Rangers on Tuesday.
