Penguins draft productive forward Bill Zonnon No. 22 overall
The Pittsburgh Penguins selected forward Bill Zonnon with the 22nd overall selection in the NHL Draft on Friday.
A native of Montreal, the left-handed Zonnon (6-foot-2, 185 pounds) appeared in 64 games last season for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League and scored 83 points (28 goals, 55 assists). During the postseason, Zonnon scored 16 points (eight goals, eight assists) in 13 contests.

On June 5, the Huskies traded Zonnon within the QMJHL to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.
The Penguins acquired this pick from the Philadelphia Flyers in a trade earlier in the evening.
