Penguins defensive prospect Thimo Nickl scored a goal for Austria in a 3-2 win against Finland at the O2 Arena. The result was Austria’s first win in international competition against Finland.

Penguins forwards Jesse Puljujarvi and Valtteri Puustinen were each held without a point for Finland.
