Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry scheduled to face Panthers
Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry is scheduled to start Tuesday’s home game against the Florida Panthers at PPG Paints Arena.
Coach Mike Sullivan announced Jarry’s status following an optional morning skate in Cranberry.
In eight games this season, Jarry has a 3-3-1 record, a 3.88 goals against average and an .881 save percentage.
Throughout his career, Jarry has faced the Panthers in eight contests and posted a 3-4-0 record, a 3.21 goals against average and a .900 save percentage.

Forwards – Cody Glass, Kevin Hayes, Blake Lizotte, Evgeni Malkin, Jesse Puljujarvi
Defensemen – Ryan Graves, Owen Pickering, Ryan Shea, Jack St. Ivany
Goaltender – Alex Nedeljkovic
• Per Sullivan, Glass remains day-to-day as he recovers from a concussion that has sidelined him for the past 11 games. He is currently designated to injured reserve.
• Penguins forward Rickard Rakell has scored goals in three consecutive games.
• With All-Star goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky absent to attend to his wife as she gives birth, the Panthers are scheduled to start Spencer Knight in net according to that team’s website.
Appearing in nine games this season, Knight has a 4-4-0 record, a 2.31 goals against average, a .911 save percentage and one shutout.
Knight has never played the Penguins in his four-year NHL career.
• Panthers forward Sam Reinhart has 299 career assists.
• Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk has 598 career points.
