In 46 games this season, Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry has a 19-21-5 record.

The Penguins are scheduled to start goaltender Tristan Jarry in Saturday’s home game against the New York Rangers at PPG Paints Arena.

Coach Mike Sullivan announced Jarry’s status approximately two hours before the opening faceoff.

In 46 games this season, Jarry has a 19-21-5 record, a 2.70 goals against average, a .909 save percentage and six shutouts.

Throughout his career, Jarry has faced the Rangers in 17 games and has posted an 8-8-0 record, a 2.81 goals against average, a .905 save percentage and one shutout.

Notes:

• Penguins rookie defenseman Jack St. Ivany could make his NHL debut after being recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League (AHL) on Friday. Sullivan indicated St. Ivany — as well as the rest of his non-goaltenders — are a game-time decision.

In 52 AHL games this season, the right-handed St. Ivany (6-foot-3, 198 pounds) has scored 12 points (four goals, eight assists). The 24-year-old is in his second professional season.

• The Rangers are scheduled to start goaltender Jonathan Quick. In 22 games this season, Quick has a 14-5-2 record, a 2.38 goals against average, a .917 save percentage and two shutouts.

Throughout his career, Quick has faced the Penguins in 16 games and has a 6-4-5 record, a 2.54 goals against average, a .914 save percentage and one shutout.

• Former Penguins defenseman Chad Ruhwedel, whom the Rangers acquired via trade on Friday, is expected to be a healthy scratch. He has yet to dress for the Rangers in four games since being added from the Penguins.

• Rangers defenseman K’Andre Miller has 99 career points.

• The opening faceoff is scheduled for 3:15 p.m.
