Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry is scheduled to start Thursday’s home game against the St. Louis Blues at PPG Paints Arena.

Coach Mike Sullivan announced Jarry’s status during an optional morning skate in Cranberry.

In 24 NHL games this season, Jarry has a 10-8-4 record, a 3.15 goals against average and an .891 save percentage.

Throughout his career, Jarry has faced the Blues in seven games and has posted a 6-1-0 record, a 1.85 goals against average, .929 save percentage and one shutout.

Notes:

• Per Sullivan, injured defensemen P.O Joseph (indefinite) and Ryan Shea (week to week) as well as forward Tommy Novak (day to day) are status quo in their recoveries from undisclosed injuries. Shea did work out on the ice prior to the morning skate.

• The Blues are one of two teams the Penguins have yet to play this season. The Chicago Blackhawks are the other.

• The Blues are expected to start goaltender Jordan Binnington. In 45 games this season, Binnington has a 20-20-4 record, a 2.79 goals against average, an .899 save percentage and three shutouts.

Throughout his career, Binnington has faced the Penguins in eight games and has a 3-3-1 record, a 3.22 goals against average and a .914 save percentage.
