The Pittsburgh Penguins are scheduled to start goaltender Tristan Jarry for Tuesday’s home game against the Montreal Canadiens at PPG Paints Arena.

Coach Mike Sullivan announced Jarry’s status following an optional morning skate.

• Those who participated in the optional morning skate included:

Defensemen – John Ludvig, Chad Ruhwedel

Goaltenders – Magnus Hellberg, Alex Nedeljkovic

• White is currently on waivers and his fate will not be learned until 2 p.m. Should no other team claim him, he can be assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League.

In 11 NHL games this season, he has no points while averaging 9:56 of ice time per contest.

• The Canadiens are expected to start goaltender Cayden Primeau. In 12 games this season, Primeau has a 5-5-1 record, a 3.07 goals against average and a .903 save percentage.

He is the nephew of former Penguins forward Wayne Primeau.

• Canadiens forward Kirby Dach has 99 career points.
