Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry scheduled to start preseason game against Red Wings
Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry is scheduled to start Monday’s preseason road contest against the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena.
This will be the first game of the preseason in which the Penguins aren’t slated to split their goaltending duties.
Jarry has appeared in one game this preseason, a 3-2 home win against the Red Wings on Friday. Starting that contest, Jarry did not record a result after stopping 11 of 13 shots over 31:48 of ice time.
Filip Larsson is scheduled to serve as the backup goaltender Monday.

The Penguins staged an optional morning skate in Cranberry before traveling to Detroit.
