The Pittsburgh Penguins lost forward Andrew Agozzino through waivers to the Anaheim Ducks.
Agozzino was placed on waivers Sunday and claimed Monday.
In 17 games this season with the Penguins, Agozzino had two assists while averaging 6 minutes, 36 seconds of ice time.
The Penguins signed Agozzino to a two-year, two-way contract this past offseason with a salary-cap hit of $700,000. Named an All-Star with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Agozzino had been recalled three times this season.
