A weekly look at how Penguins prospects and minor leaguers have fared over the past week:

• In the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), forwards Nathan Legare and Sam Poulin each made their debuts for Val-d’Or Foreurs on Saturday in a 3-2 shootout road win against the Gatineau Olympiques. Legare scored each of the Foreurs’ goals with Poulin recording the primary assist both times.

On Sunday, Poulin scored a regulation goal as the Foreurs claimed a 3-2 overtime home win against the Olympiques. Legare recorded the primary assist.

Poulin was traded Jan. 25 from the Sherbrooke Phoenix to the Foreurs

Legare (third round, No. 74 overall) and Poulin (first-round, No. 21 overall) were each drafted by the Penguins in 2019. Both 19-year-olds are signed to three-year entry-level contracts with the Penguins that have yet to begin.

• In the NCAA, defenseman Clayton Phillips had a goal and an assist for Penn State in a 2-1 home win against Notre Dame on Thursday.

A third-round pick (No. 93 overall) in 2017, Phillips, 21, has yet to sign with the Penguins.

• Also in the NCAA, forward Judd Caulfield had a goal and an assist for North Dakota in a 6-2 road win against Omaha on Friday.

A second-round pick (No. 61 overall) in 2016, Bjorkqvist, 23, is in the second year of a two-year-entry-level contract with the Penguins.

• Elsewhere in the Liiga, defenseman Niclas Almari, currently on loan to Pelicans, will be sidelined for six weeks due to an undisclosed injury. Various ailments have limited Almari to eight games and one goal this season.

Almari, 22, was a fifth-round pick (No. 151 overall) in 2016 and is entering the second year of a three-year entry-level contract with the Penguins.

• In Sweden’s HockeyAllsvensken, goaltender Calle Clang made 11 saves on 13 shots in a 3-2 overtime home win against Vasby on Saturday.
