In 35 AHL games during the 2019-20 season, Penguins forward Andrew Agozzino has 35 points.

The Penguins have added an all-star to their roster.

Forward Andrew Agozzino, named to the AHL’s All-Star Game tournament last week, was recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League.

Agozzino, 29, has appeared in one NHL game this season, logging 1 minute, 44 seconds of ice time on five shifts in a 2-1 home win against the Anaheim Ducks on Oct. 10.

In 35 AHL games this season, Agozzino is Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s leading scorer with 31 points (14 goals, 17 assists).

To make room for Agozzino on the roster, the team assigned forward Thomas Di Pauli to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Di Pauli, recalled on Friday, appeared in his first two career NHL games Saturday and Sunday. He had no points, two shots and averaged 5:58 of ice time per contest.

The Penguins open a three-game road trip Tuesday against former goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury and the Vegas Golden Knights.
