In 10 AHL games this season, Penguins forward Filip Hallander has nine points (four goals, five assists).

The Pittsburgh Penguins recalled forward Filip Hallander from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League (AHL) on Tuesday.

In 10 AHL games this season, the left-handed Hallander is Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s leading scorer with nine points (four goals, five assists).

A second-round pick (No. 58 overall) of the Penguins in 2018, the 22-year-old Hallander has appeared one NHL game in his career - last season - and has no points.

Hallander’s recall comes one day after the team assigned forward Drew O’Conner to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
