Forward Anthony Beauvillier spent time with the Nashville Predators, Chicago Blackhawks and Vancouver Canucks last season.

The Pittsburgh Penguins signed former Nashville Predators forward Anthony Beauvillier to a one-year contract worth $1.25 million Monday.

Beauvillier, 27, split the 2023-24 season between three teams. After opening the campaign with the Vancouver Canucks, Beauvillier was dealt to the Chicago Blackhawks in November and then was traded again to the Predators in March.

He appeared in 60 games and scored 17 points (five goals, 12 assists) while averaging 13 minutes, 35 seconds of ice time.

A left-handed shot, Beauvillier (5-foot-11, 180 pounds) just completed a three-year contract that carried a salary cap hit of $4.15 million.

The native of Quebec was a first-round draft pick (No. 28 overall) of the New York Islanders and spent most of the first seven years of his career with that franchise.
