MONTREAL — The Penguins dealt away forward prospect Liam Gorman to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a sixth-round pick (No. 167 overall) in the 2022 NHL Draft.

With that selection, they chose defenseman Nolan Collins of the Ontario Hockey League’s Sudbury Wolves.

In 65 games last season, Collins, 18, scored 14 points (four goals, 18 assists).

A right-handed shot, Collins is listed at 6-foot-3, 194 pounds.

Gorman, 22, has yet to sign an NHL contract. A sixth-round pick (No. 177 overall) in the 2018 draft, Gorman has spent the past three seasons at Princeton. In 28 NCAA games last season, Gorman had six points (three goals, three assists).
