Penguins, Tristan Jarry beat Red Wings
Goaltender Tristan Jarry unofficially made 21 saves on 22 shots and guided the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 2-1 win against the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena on Monday.
It was the second appearance of the preseason for Jarry (1-0-0).
Penguins forwards Ben Kindel (3:40 of the first period) and Tommy Novak (4:38 of the second period) scored their first goals of the preseason.
With the victory, the Penguins improved their preseason record to 3-1-1. Their next contest is a road game against the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday.
