Penn State is red hot on the recruiting trail, and things just got better in the 2026 class.

Four-star Nazareth quarterback Peyton Falzone announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions on Saturday. The signal caller ranks as the nation’s 11th-best quarterback, according to both On3 and 247Sports.

Falzone became the 10th prospect committed in Penn State’s sixth-ranked 2026 class and the second quarterback, alongside California’s Troy Huhn. If things hold, it will be James Franklin’s first two-quarterback class since signing both current starter Drew Allar and recent transfer Beau Pribula in 2022.

Penn State and Franklin have targeted Falzone for quite some time, as the in-state player has taken four visits to Happy Valley, according to On3. He was once committed to Virginia Tech but backed off that pledge in November. Falzone also took visits to Syracuse, Iowa and Ohio State, among others.

There’s a connection between Allar and Falzone, too, as they’ve both trained with quarterbacks coach Brad Maendlar at various times of their careers.

Falzone was his conference’s offensive player of the year this past season while throwing for over 2,100 yards each of the past two seasons with 42 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He’s the No. 6 player in Pennsylvania, according to the 247Sports Composite.
