The Penn State football program has added two more commitments to its Class of 2020.
Virginia’s Joseph Johnson, an athlete/defensive back from Chester Life Christian Academy, and Texas’ Parker Washington, a wide receiver from Fort Bend Travis High School, both gave verbal commitments to the Nittany Lions on Tuesday evening.
Washington has a four-star rating from Rivals, while Johnson is rated three stars. They both made official visits to Penn State on June 18.
Johnson, at 6-foot-3, had given a verbal commitment to N.C. State but rescinded that decision in early May. He also mulled offers from Texas A&M and Ohio State before finalizing his decision.

The 5-foot-11 Washington chose the Nittany Lions over offers from schools such as Big 10 rival Wisconsin, Duke, Georgia Tech, Utah and Kentucky.
