Penn State’s recruiting weekend keeps rolling.

Four-star linebacker Dejuan Lane committed to the Nittany Lions’ 2024 recruiting class on Sunday, becoming the third commit of the day.

Three-star offensive tackle Deryc Plazz committed earlier in the afternoon while three-star defensive end Xavier Gilliam committed hours later.

Lane, like Plazz and Gilliam, visited over the weekend during Penn State’s first of four visit weekends.

Lane, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect from the Gilman School in Baltimore, is the 17th commit of Penn State’s 2024 class.

Lane is the third linebacker, joining Central Catholic four-star Anthony Speca and four-star Kari Jackson from West Bloomfield, Mich.

Lane had offers from 21 other schools, including Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas A&M.
