Make it two more commitments for Penn State and a huge hot streak for the Nittany Lions on the trail.

Daniel Jennings, a four-star defensive end in the Class of 2026 from Princeton, W.Va., committed to Penn State over hometown West Virginia on Wednesday. He followed the afternoon commitment of 2025 defensive lineman Yvan Kemajou, which also came after a pair of commitments over the past weekend.

Out of Paint Branch High School in Burtonsville, Md., Kemajou had also taken an official visit to Penn State at the end of May. His addition is a big boost for the 2025 class, which lost one of its highest-rated members when defensive end Max Granville reclassified to the 2024 class. Penn State had fallen to No. 16 in the national 2025 rankings heading into Wednesday.

Kemajou profiles as a versatile piece on assistant coach Deion Barnes’ defensive line. He stands 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds, appearing likely to become an interior defensive tackle with the ability to swing toward the edge. He was a bit of a late-breaking prospect, having just received his Penn State offer in January.

Like Kemajou, Jennings was in Happy Valley for last weekend’s Lasch Bash recruiting barbecue, already the fourth Penn State visit for Jennings’ young recruitment. Jennings is the second-best 2026 player in West Virginia and the nation’s 22nd-best edge, according to the 247Sports composite, which received an update Wednesday.

Penn State’s 2026 recruiting class, though it’s extremely early in the cycle, is off to an extremely strong start. Led by the No. 1 prospect in Pennsylvania in Harrisburg offensive lineman Kevin Brown, the Lions ranked fourth in the nation with four commitments heading into Wednesday. Running back Messiah Mickens, quarterback Troy Huhn and wide receiver Jahsiear Rogers round out the group.
