Scouting report: Made 13 starts this season at Eastern Michigan, compiling a 4-6 record, 4.64 ERA and 1.44 WHIP. … Allowed 73 hits and 33 walks in 73 2/3, but struck out 81 batters. … As a freshman in 2019, he made 12 starts, striking out 42 in 58 innings. … Only Eastern Michigan freshman to earn a win that season, ended tied for team lead with three. … Struck out 16 batters in a game while pitching at Bethel Park High School where he won four letters.
