The Pittsburgh Pirates announced an additional six players will attend big league camp as non-roster invitees.
Catcher Derek Berg, first baseman Nick Cimillo, right-handed pitcher Michael Darrell-Hicks, left-handed pitcher Nick Dombkowski, outfielder/infielder Mitch Jebb and infielder Alika Williams were invited to camp, which opens Feb. 16 at Pirate City in Bradenton, Fla.
Berg batted a combined .230 with 11 doubles, four triples, seven home runs and 37 RBIs in 88 games split between Low-A Bradenton, High-A Greensboro and Double-A Altoona last season.
Cimillo spent the entire 2025 season with Altoona, where he hit .239 with 26 doubles, four triples, 20 home runs and 71 RBIs with 44 walks in 112 games.
Darrell-Hicks was claimed off waivers from the Los Angeles Angels on June 13, and pitched two scoreless innings for the Pirates. He made six appearances for the Angels but spent the majority of the 2025 season at the Triple-A level, where he struck out 42 batters across his 32 appearances.
Dombkowski went a combined 3-6 with a 5.12 ERA and 75 strikeouts across 32 appearances (12 starts) split between Greensboro, Altoona and Triple-A Indianapolis.
Jebb batted .265 with 11 doubles, six triples, 34 RBIs, 59 walks, 33 stolen bases and 55 runs scored in 122 games with Altoona last season.
Williams spent all of last season with Indianapolis, where he hit .268 with 11 doubles, three triples, nine home runs, 42 RBIs and 50 runs scored in 103 games. The 26-year-old Williams has appeared in 83 Major League games with Pittsburgh (2023-24) since being acquired from Tampa Bay on June 2, 2023.
