The Pirates work out at LECOM Park in Bradenton on March 14, 2022.

The Pittsburgh Pirates announced Tuesday that they will play a pair of spring training games under the lights against a pair of playoff teams in the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays at LECOM Park this March in Bradenton, Fla.

The Pirates begin Grapefruit League play Feb. 24 against the AL Central champion Minnesota Twins in Fort Myers, then play their home opener the following day against the AL East champion Orioles.

First pitch for the night games against Baltimore on March 14 and Toronto on March 21 is 6:05 p.m. The Pirates will play host to the Boston Red Sox (in a split squad game), New York Yankees and Blue Jays in their final three spring training games before opening the season at the Miami Marlins on March 28.

Season tickets, three-game flex packs and groups of 10 or more can be purchased for Pirates spring training games starting Wednesday. Individual game tickets go on sale Friday.

Season-ticket holders can get discounts on game tickets, merchandise, concessions and parking. Three-game flex packs allow for tickets to be redeemed. For more Pirates spring training information, visit pirates.com/springtraining.
