Pirates announce broadcast schedule for Grapefruit League games
BRADENTON, Fla. — The Pittsburgh Pirates announced that SportsNet Pittsburgh will televise a dozen home games in Grapefruit League play this spring and show their opponents’ broadcast in seven others.
The broadcast schedule includes this weekend’s openers, Saturday at the Baltimore Orioles in Sarasota and Sunday’s home opener against the Minnesota Twins at LECOM Park.
Six of the Pirates’ Grapefruit League games also will be available as webcasts at Pirates.com. Select games can be heard on Pirates flagship station 93.7 The Fan, along with its sister stations 100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA. The Pirates Radio Network will collectively cover 16 games this spring.
