Pirates farm report for April 13, 2023: Jase Bowen homers in Greensboro win

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 5-7) lost 3-2 to St. Paul (Twins). RHP Carmen Mlodzinski (0-1, 4.76) gave up a run in the eighth to take the loss. LHP Cam Alldred (2.16) started and went four innings, surrendering two runs on three hits and a walk with six strikeouts. RF Miguel Andujar (.182) went 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI. LF Tucupita Marcano (.400) went 1 for 3 and drove in a run. SS Chris Owings (.182) went 1 for 2 with a double. DH Nick Gonzales (.195) went 1 for 4 with a triple.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 2-4) took a 10-6 lead with four runs in the top of the 10th then allowed seven in the bottom of the inning to lose 13-10 to Erie (Tigers).RHP Juan Minaya (0-1, 0.00) gave up the final three runs, all unearned, to take the loss. SS Liover Peguero went 2 for 6 woth a double, a stolen base and two RBIs. 1B Mason Martin (.263) went 1 for 4 with two RBIs and a stolen base. DH Lolo Sanchez went 3 for 5 with an RBI. RHP Justin Meis (6.43) of Bethel Park started and gave up four runs on five hits and two walks in four innings. RHP Noe Toribio (4.91) and LHP Tyler Samaniego (3.00) each pitched two scoreless innings of relief.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 4-2) slugged its way past Jersey Shore (Phillies), 10-6. CF Jase Bowen (.346) went 1 for 5 with a three-run homer, his second. 3B Brenden Dixon (.500) went 2 for 3 with a two-run homer, his first, and a double. RF Hudson Head (.250) went 3 for 3 with an RBI. LHP Anthony Solometo (5.87) started and gave up four runs on four hits and four walks in 3.2 innings. LHP Cy Nielson (0.00) pitched two perfect innings of relief with three strikeouts.
