Pirates farm report for April 19, 2025: Matt Gorski homers twice to back Bubba Chandler at Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 9-8) handled Toledo (Tigers), 6-2. 1B Matt Gorski (.300) went 3 for 4 with a double and two home runs, his second and third. RHP Bubba Chandler (1.76) started and went 4 ⅔ innings, giving up one run on two hits with one walk and five strikeouts. RHP Eddy Yean (1-2, 4.70) came on and pitched 1 ⅓ scoreless innings, allowing one hit and striking out two to earn the win. RHP Colin Holderman (0.00), on a rehab assignment for a knee injury, pitched a perfect seventh. 2B Liover Peguero (.321) went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and a run scored. C Eli Wilson (.364) went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. SS Tsung-Che Cheng (.273) also went 2 for 4. LF Nick Solak (.357) went 2 for 3 with a run scored.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 6-8) got past Somerset (Yankees), 2-1. The Curve was held to five hits. SS Jack Brannigan (.267) went 2 for 4 with a pair of RBI singles, including the go-ahead hit in the eighth inning. RF Jase Bowen (.231) was 1 for 4 with a run scored and his third stolen base. CF Mitch Jebb (.195) went 1 for 3 with a double and a run scored. RHP Po-Yu Chen (3.86) started and pitched five scoreless innings, allowing one hit and striking out five. LHP Cy Nielson (1-1, 4.91) pitched 1 ⅓ scoreless innings with three strikeouts to earn the win. RHP Cam Sanders (0.00) got the last two outs for his fourth save.

RF Enmanuel Terrero (.133) went 2 for 4 with his first homer. 3B Duce Gourson (.289) went 1 for 4 with his 11th stolen base and a run scored. LHP Connor Wietgrefe (0.00) started and pitched four no-hit innings, striking out five. LHP Franck De La Rosa (1-0, 6.75) followed with two no-hit innings with three strikeouts.
