INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 1-3) lost 7-2 to Memphis (Cardinals ) in a series opener. LHP Cam Allred (0-1, 6.00) started and allowed two runs on four hits in three innings. RHP Brent Honeywell (15.43) pitched the ninth and gave up four runs on five hits, including a homer. In between, RHP Colin Holderman (16.20) on a rehab assignment due to illness, RHO Connor Sadzeck (0.00), RHP Colin Selby (0.00) and LHP Geronimo Franzua (0.00) each pitched a scoreless inning of relief. 3B Malcom Nunez (.250) went 1 for 3 and hit his second home run. CF Gilberto Celestino went 1 for 4 with a run scored.
