Pirates farm report for April 21, 2023: Termarr Johnson makes season debut for Bradenton

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 7-12) was doubled up by Memphis (Cardinals), 8-4. RHP Quinn Priester (7.80) lasted only 1⅔ innings, giving up four runs on five hits and a walk with three strikeouts. LHP Cam Alldred came on and gave up three runs on four hits and three walks in 2⅓ innings. RHP Colin Selby (3.38) worked a scoreless inning with two strikeouts and RHP Eli Villalobos (9.00) struck out the side in the eighth. CF Chavez Young (.170) went 1 for 3 with a solo home run, his first. RF Ryan Vilade (.350) went 1 for 4 with a two-run shot, his first. LF Miguel Andujar (.257) was 2 for 3 with a triple and a walk.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 6-7) beat Bowie (Orioles), 8-1. 3B Domingo Leyba (.378) went 3 for 4 with a two-run double. 1B Jacob Gonzalez (.231) was 2 for 4 with two RBI singles. 2B Liover Peguero (.209) finished 2 for 3 with two singles, a walk and three runs scored. C Henry Davis (.214) went 0 for 4 with two strikeouts and a walk to continue an early season slump. RHP Sean Sullivan (0.00) went 4⅓ innings and allowed two hits and two walks and struck out three. RHP Cameron Junker (1-1, 4.91) threw 1⅔ innings of relief and allowed no runs on no hits.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 10-3) mustered only two hits in a 2-1 victory against Greenville (Red Sox). 3B Jackson Glenn (.294) went 1 for 3 with an RBI double and an RBI groundout. LF Luke Brown (.154) was 1 for 3 with a triple. 1B Jase Bowen (.319) went hitless with three strikeouts. RHP Braxton Ashcraft (0.00) started and went four shutout innings, allowing two hits with six strikeouts. RHP Jack Carey (1-0, 3.00) threw one inning of relief and allowed one hit to pick up the win. LHP Cy Nielson (0.00) allowed one unearned run on one hit and struck out three in 1⅓ innings for his third save.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 9-4) had its bats come alive with 15 hits in a 10-0 shutout of Daytona (Reds). DH Termarr Johnson (.500) went 1 for 2 with a two-run single. 1B Alexander Mojica (.313) was 3 for 4 with a two-run single and an RBI double. CF Tres Gonzalez (.375) went 3 for 3 with an RBI single and a bunt single. LF Enmanuel Terrero (.386) was 4 for 5 with and RBI single and a double. RHP Thomas Harrington (2-0, 4.26) started and went five shutout innings, allowed four hits, walked one and struck out four. LHP Julian Bosnic (0.00) threw two innings of relief and walked two while striking out three.
