Pirates farm report for April 23, 2023: Henry Davis' 2 homers help Curve top Bowie

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 8-13) beat Memphis (Cardinals), 6-4. C Grant Koch (.308) hit a two-run homer. DH Miguel Andujar (.286) was 2 for 4 with two RBIs and now has 13 RBIs for the season. SS Josh Bissonette (.265), who was 3 for 4, and 3B Ryan Vilade (.321) also each had an RBI. RHP Luis Ortiz (1-1, 2.31) allowed two runs on three hits with a walk and two strikeouts in six innings to earn the win.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 7-7) earned a walk-off win over Bowie (Orioles), 5-4. LF Lolo Sanchez (.231) hit a sacrifice fly to score DH Fabricio Macias (.000) in the bottom of the ninth to secure the win. C Henry Davis (.267) was 3 for 3 with three RBIs and smacked two home runs; he now has four this season. RHP Aaron Shortridge (5.40) started and allowed two runs (one earned) and four hits with three walks and two strikeouts in six innings. RHP Tahnaj Thomas (1-0, 3.00) got the win after throwing 1 1/3 innings of no-hit relief.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 11-4) defeated Greenville (Red Sox), 4-1. CF Jase Bowen (.353) was 3 for 4 with two solo home runs and a double. RHP Po-Yu Chen (5.27) started and allowed one run on two hits with six strikeouts in five innings of a no-decision. LHP Mitchell Miller (2-1, 7.50) tossed one inning of no-hit baseball to earn the win. RHP Eddy Yean (1.23) earned his third save after allowing no hits and one walk in the ninth. The bullpen combined for four innings of no-hit baseball.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 10-5) smashed Daytona (Reds), 9-1. DH Javier Rivas (.263) was 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. 2B Termarr Johnson (.400) was 1 for 3 with a double and two RBIs. RF Jauri Custodio (.259) was 2 for 5 with a double and an RBI. RHP J.P. Massey (1-1, 3.86) allowed two hits with a walk and seven strikeouts in five scoreless innings to earn the win.
