Pirates farm report for April 27, 2023: Quinn Priester roughed up again at Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 9-15) was held to three hits and was blanked by Columbus (Guardians), 7-0. RHP Quinn Priester (1-3, 7.78) started and was touched up for four runs on fours hits and three walks in 4.2 innings. LHP Cam Alldred (6.00) followed and surrendered three runs on five hits in 1.1 innings. LF Josh Palacios (.300) went 1 for 2 with two walks. 3B Ryan Vilade (.263) went 0 for 4 with three strikeouts and 1B Malcom Nunez (.195) went 0 for 4 with two strikeouts.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 9-8) scored three in the ninth to beat Reading (Phillies), 3-2. RHP Sean Sullivan (0.00) started and pitched five scoreless innings, allowing four hits and two walks and striking out six. LHP Nick Dombkowski (1.80) followed with two scoreless innings of relief. LHP Tyler Samaniego (1-0, 3.68) gave up one run in the eighth to earn the win. RHP Tahnaj Thomas (3.86) allowed one run in the ninth to pick up his second save. 3B Domingo Leyba (.377) went 2 for 4 with an RBI single. C Henry Davis (.269) went 1 for 3 with a bases-loaded walk. SS Liover Peguero went 1 for 5 with a double. 1B Jacob Gonzalez (.297) went 2 for 4.
