Skenes (0.00) allowed one hit – a single to 1B Luken Baker to lead off the second – and one walk while striking out six in three scoreless innings. LHP Eric Lauer (1-0, 4.05) followed and pitched four scoreless with four strikeouts in four innings, allowing one hit. RHP Colin Holderman (10.13), pitching on a rehab assignment after an illness, threw a scoreless eighth. LHP Joe Hernandez was touched up for three runs on three hits in the ninth. Liover Peguero (.379) went 5 for 5 with a double and three RBIs. DH Jake Lamb (.450) went 2 for 5 with his second homer.
