INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 1-3) and Iowa (Cubs) had their game canceled because of inclement weather. Friday’s game that was suspended as well will resume in the top of the 10th inning at 12:15 p.m. Sunday. Sunday’s game will begin 45 minutes after the conclusion.

Next: Sunday vs. Iowa (Cubs), 12:15 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 0-2) lost 2-0 to Chesapeake (Orioles). RHP Wilber Dotel (0.00) threw five scoreless innings, allowing two hits with four strikeouts and no walks. RHP Derek Diamond (0-1, 6.00) allowed two runs on four hits in three innings and took the loss. LHP Jaden Woods (0.00) allowed one hit in a scoreless inning of relief. 2B Mitch Jebb (.125) was 1 for 3 with a walk. 1B Brenden Dixon (.375) doubled.

Next: Sunday vs. Chesapeake (Orioles), 1 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 2-0) smashed Asheville, 13-2. 3B Javier Rivas (.500) was 3 for 5 with a double, two-run homer and three RBIs. 2B Maikol Escotto (.750) was 3 for 4 with a double, homer, two RBIs and three runs scored. 1B Omar Alfonzo (.375) hit a solo home run. CF Shalin Polanco (.333) was 2 for 4 with two RBIs. RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.500), RF Jesus Castillo (.333), DH Keiner Delgado (.250), SS Kalae Harrison (.000) and C Geovanny Planchart (.000) also knocked in runs. RHP Garrett McMillan (1-0, 1.80) allowed one run on two hits with eight strikeouts over five innings to earn the win.

Next: Sunday vs. Asheville (Astros), 2 p.m.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 1-1) lost 7-3 to Daytona (Reds). LF Braylon Bishop (.500) hit a two-run homer. 2B Yordany De Los Santos (.286) doubled in the other run. CF Will Taylor (.444) was 2 for 4 with a run scored. SS Konnor Griffin (.250) was 0 for 4 in the leadoff spot. RHP Carlos Castillo (0.00) started and allowed one unearned run on three hits with a walk and strikeout in four innings. LHP Isaias Uribe (0-1, 108.00) allowed four runs on three hits with two walks in 1/3 of an inning and took the loss.
