C Endy Rodriguez (.211) was 2 for 4 with an RBI. CF Travis Swaggerty (.276) went 1 for 5 with a double. 2B Chris Owings (.200) went 2 for 4 with a double. LHP Caleb Smith (9.64) started and went 4.2 innings, allowing two runs on four hits with two walks. RHP JC Flowers (1-0, 9.00) worked a scoreless sixth to earn the win. RHP John O’Reilly (0.00) pitched 1.2 innings of scoreless relief to pick up his first save.

LHP Julian Bosnic threw a scoreless ninth for his first save. 2B Jesus Castillo and 3B Jack Brannigan each had two hits and scored a run.
